Dear fellow believer let us see what the Bible says about prosperity and wealth.

KJV - King James Version

AMP - Amplified Bible

Genesis 24:35:

KJV And the LORD hath blessed my master greatly; and he is become great: and he hath given him flocks, and herds, and silver, and gold, and menservants, and maidservants, and camels, and asses.
BBE The Lord has given my master every blessing, and he has become great: he has given him flocks and herds and silver and gold, and men-servants and women-servants and camels and asses.
GW 35"The LORD has blessed my master, and he has become wealthy. The LORD has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female slaves, camels and donkeys.
AMP And the Lord has blessed my master mightily, and he has become great; and He has given him flocks, herds, silver, gold, menservants, maidservants, camels, and asses.

Deuteronomy 8:18:

KJV But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
BBE But keep in mind the Lord your God: for it is he who gives you the power to get wealth, so that he may give effect to the agreement which he made by his oath with your fathers, as at this day.
GW But remember the LORD your God is the one who makes you wealthy. He's confirming the promise which he swore to your ancestors. It's still in effect today.
AMP But you shall [earnestly] remember the Lord your God, for it is He Who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day.

I Samuel 2:7:

KJV The LORD maketh poor, and maketh rich: he bringeth low, and lifteth up.
BBE The Lord gives wealth and takes a man's goods from him: crushing men down and again lifting them up;
GW The LORD causes poverty and grants wealth. He humbles [people]; he also promotes them.
AMP The Lord makes poor and makes rich; He brings low and He lifts up.

Psalms 37:16:

KJV A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked.
BBE The little which the good man has is better than the wealth of evil-doers.
GW The little that the righteous person has is better than the wealth of many wicked people.
AMP Better is the little that the [uncompromisingly] righteous have than the abundance [of possessions] of many who are wrong {and} wicked.

 
Psalms 52:7:

KJV Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
BBE See, this is the man who did not make God his strength, but had faith in his goods and his property, and made himself strong in his wealth.
GW "Look at this person who refused to make God his fortress! Instead, he trusted his great wealth and became strong through his greed."
AMP See, this is the man who made not God his strength (his stronghold and high tower) but trusted in {and} confidently relied on the abundance of his riches, seeking refuge {and} security for himself through his wickedness.

Proverbs 3:9:

KJV Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:
BBE Give honour to the Lord with your wealth, and with the first-fruits of all your increase:
GW Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the first and best part of all your income.
AMP Honor the Lord with your capital {and} sufficiency [from righteous labors] and with the firstfruits of all your income;

Ephesians 1:18:

KJV The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
BBE And that having the eyes of your heart full of light, you may have knowledge of what is the hope of his purpose, what is the wealth of the glory of his heritage in the saints,
GW Then you will have deeper insight. You will know the confidence that he calls you to have and the glorious wealth that God's people will inherit.
AMP By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know {and} understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),

Job 36:11:

KJV If they obey and serve him , they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.
BBE If they give ear to his voice, and do his word, then he gives them long life, and years full of pleasure.
GW "If righteous people listen and serve [him], they will live out their days in prosperity and their years in comfort.
AMP If they obey and serve Him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasantness {and} joy.

 
Proverbs 21:5:

KJV The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want.
BBE The purposes of the man of industry have their outcome only in wealth; but one who is over-quick in acting will only come to be in need.
GW The plans of a hard-working person lead to prosperity, but everyone who is [always] in a hurry ends up in poverty.
AMP The thoughts of the [steadily] diligent tend only to plenteousness, but everyone who is impatient {and} hasty hastens only to want.

Psalms 112:1-3

KJV Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.
BBE Let the Lord be praised. Happy is the man who gives honour to the Lord, and has great delight in his laws. His seed will be strong on the earth; blessings will be on the generation of the upright. A store of wealth will be in his house, and his righteousness will be for ever.
GW Hallelujah! Blessed is the person who fears the LORD and is happy to obey his commands. His descendants will grow strong on the earth. The family of a decent person will be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his home. His righteousness continues forever.
AMP PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who fears (reveres and worships) the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments. His [spiritual] offspring shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Prosperity {and} welfare are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.

Looking at these verses we see that God wants His children to prosper and to be wealthy. God wants to bless us so that we can be a blessing to others. The more we bless others the more God will bless us. Be a blessing and receive God's blessings.
