Dear fellow believer let us see what the Bible tells us about forgiving.

KJV - King James Version
BBE - Bible in Basic English (1949/1964)
GW - GOD'S WORD Translation
AMP - Amplified Bible

Psalms 32:1:

KJV Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
BBE Happy is he who has forgiveness for his wrongdoing, and whose sin is covered.
GW Blessed is the person whose disobedience is forgiven and whose sin is pardoned.
AMP BLESSED (HAPPY, fortunate, to be envied) is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered.

Psalms 86:15:

KJV But thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
BBE But you, O Lord, are a God full of pity and forgiveness, slow to get angry, great in mercy and wisdom.
GW But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and merciful God. You are patient, always faithful and ready to forgive.
AMP But You, O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in mercy {and} loving-kindness and truth.

Proverbs 14:9:

KJV Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour.
BBE In the tents of those hating authority there is error, but in the house of the upright man there is grace.
GW Stubborn fools make fun of guilt, but there is forgiveness among decent people.
AMP Fools make a mock of sin {and} sin mocks the fools [who are its victims; a sin offering made by them only mocks them, bringing them disappointment and disfavor], but among the upright there is the favor of God.

Proverbs 17:9:

KJV He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.
BBE He who keeps a sin covered is looking for love; but he who keeps on talking of a thing makes division between friends.
GW Whoever forgives an offense seeks love, but whoever keeps bringing up the issue separates the closest of friends.
AMP He who covers {and} forgives an offense seeks love, but he who repeats {or} harps on a matter separates even close friends.

Matthew 6:14-15

KJV "For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
BBE "If you forgive the failures of others, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive others, your Father will not forgive your failures.
GW For if you let men have forgiveness for their sins, you will have forgiveness from your Father in heaven. But if you do not let men have forgiveness for their sins, you will not have forgiveness from your Father for your sins.
AMP For if you forgive people their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins, leaving them, letting them go, and giving up resentment], neither will your Father forgive you your trespasses.

Matthew 12:31-32

KJV "Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come."
BBE So I say to you, Every sin and every evil word against God will have forgiveness; but for evil words against the Spirit there will be no forgiveness. And whoever says a word against the Son of man, will have forgiveness; but whoever says a word against the Holy Spirit, will not have forgiveness in this life or in that which is to come.
GW So I can guarantee that people will be forgiven for any sin or cursing. However, cursing the Spirit will not be forgiven. Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven in this world or the next
AMP Therefore I tell you, every sin and blasphemy (every evil, abusive, injurious speaking, or indignity against sacred things) can be forgiven men, but blasphemy against the [Holy] Spirit shall not {and} cannot be forgiven. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Spirit, the Holy One, will not be forgiven, either in this world {and} age or in the world {and} age to come.

II Corinthians 2:10:

KJV To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;
BBE But if you give forgiveness to anyone, I do the same: for if I have given forgiveness for anything, I have done it because of you, in the person of Christ;
GW If you forgive someone, so do I. Indeed, what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, I did in the presence of Christ for your benefit.
AMP If you forgive anyone anything, I too forgive that one; and what I have forgiven, if I have forgiven anything, has been for your sakes in the presence [and with the approval] of Christ (the Messiah),

I John 1:9:

KJV If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
BBE If we say openly that we have done wrong, he is upright and true to his word, giving us forgiveness of sins and making us clean from all evil.
GW God is faithful and reliable. If we confess our sins, he forgives them and cleanses us from everything we've done wrong.
AMP If we [freely] admit that we have sinned {and} confess our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

Looking at these verses we see that we should be forgiving towards all. If we forgive we will also be forgiven.
