Dear fellow believer let us see what the Bible tells us about new believers.

KJV - King James Version
BBE - Bible in Basic English (1949/1964)
GW - GOD'S WORD Translation
AMP - Amplified Bible

Galatians 6:10:

KJV As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
BBE So then, as we have the chance, let us do good to all men, and specially to those who are of the family of the faith.
GW Whenever we have the opportunity, we have to do what is good for everyone, especially for the family of believers.
AMP So then, as occasion {and} opportunity open up to us, let us do good [morally] to all people [not only being useful or profitable to them, but also doing what is for their spiritual good and advantage]. Be mindful to be a blessing, especially to those of the household of faith [those who belong to God's family with you, the believers].

I Timothy 4:12:

KJV Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
BBE Let no one make little of you because you are young, but be an example to the church in word, in behaviour, in love, in faith, in holy living.
GW Don't let anyone look down on you for being young. Instead, make your speech, behavior, love, faith, and purity an example for other believers.
AMP Let no one despise {or} think less of you because of your youth, but be an example (pattern) for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.

II Timothy 2:14:

KJV Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.
BBE Put these things before them, giving them orders in the name of the Lord to keep themselves from fighting about words, which is of no profit, only causing error in their hearers.
GW Remind believers about these things, and warn them in the sight of God not to quarrel over words. Quarreling doesn't do any good but only destroys those who are listening.
AMP Remind [the people] of these facts and [solemnly] charge them in the presence of the Lord to avoid petty controversy over words, which does no good but upsets {and} undermines the faith of the hearers.

Titus 3:2:

KJV To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.
BBE To say no evil of any man, not to be fighters, to give way to others, to be gentle in behaviour to all men.
GW Believers shouldn't curse anyone or be quarrelsome, but they should be gentle and show courtesy to everyone.
AMP To slander {or} abuse {or} speak evil of no one, to avoid being contentious, to be forbearing (yielding, gentle, and conciliatory), and to show unqualified courtesy toward everybody.

Hebrews 10:25:

KJV Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
BBE Not giving up our meetings, as is the way of some, but keeping one another strong in faith; and all the more because you see the day coming near.
GW We should not stop gathering together with other believers, as some of you are doing. Instead, we must continue to encourage each other even more as we see the day of the Lord coming.
AMP Not forsaking {or} neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching.

Hebrews 13:2:

KJV Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
BBE Take care to keep open house: because in this way some have had angels as their guests, without being conscious of it.
GW Don't forget to show hospitality to believers you don't know. By doing this some believers have shown hospitality to angels without being aware of it.
AMP Do not forget {or} neglect {or} refuse to extend hospitality to strangers [in the brotherhood--being friendly, cordial, and gracious, sharing the comforts of your home and doing your part generously], for through it some have entertained angels without knowing it.

I Peter 2:12:

KJV Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
BBE Being of good behaviour among the Gentiles; so that though they say now that you are evil-doers, they may see your good works and give glory to God when he comes to be their judge.
GW Live decent lives among unbelievers. Then, although they ridicule you as if you were doing wrong while they are watching you do good things, they will praise God on the day he comes to help you.
AMP Conduct yourselves properly (honorably, righteously) among the Gentiles, so that, although they may slander you as evildoers, [yet] they may by witnessing your good deeds [come to] glorify God in the day of inspection [when God shall look upon you wanderers as a pastor or shepherd looks over his flock].

I Peter 4:4:

KJV Wherein they think it strange that ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you:
BBE And they are wondering that you no longer go with them in this violent wasting of life, and are saying evil things of you:
GW Unbelievers insult you now because they are surprised that you no longer join them in the same excesses of wild living.
AMP They are astonished {and} think it very queer that you do not now run hand in hand with them in the same excesses of dissipation, and they abuse [you].

I John 2:10:

KJV He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
BBE He who has love for his brother is in the light, and there is no cause of error in him.
GW Those who love other believers live in the light. Nothing will destroy the faith of those who live in the light.
AMP Whoever loves his brother [believer] abides (lives) in the Light, and in It {or} in him there is no occasion for stumbling {or} cause for error {or} sin.

I John 4:20-21

KJV If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
BBE If a man says, I have love for God, and has hate for his brother, his words are false: for how is the man who has no love for his brother whom he has seen, able to have love for God whom he has not seen? And this is the word which we have from him, that he who has love for God is to have the same love for his brother.
GW Whoever says, "I love God," but hates another believer is a liar. People who don't love other believers, whom they have seen, can't love God, whom they have not seen. Christ has given us this commandment: The person who loves God must also love other believers.
AMP If anyone says, I love God, and hates (detests, abominates) his brother [in Christ], he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen. And this command (charge, order, injunction) we have from Him: that he who loves God shall love his brother [believer] also.

"Dear friend, you are showing your faith in whatever you do for other believers, especially when they're your guests." - III John 1:5:
