Dear fellow believer let us see what the Bible tells us about making decisions.

KJV - King James Version
BBE - Bible in Basic English (1949/1964)
GW - GOD'S WORD Translation
AMP - Amplified Bible

Psalms 19:9:

KJV The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
BBE The fear of the Lord is clean, and has no end; the decisions of the Lord are true and full of righteousness.
GW The fear of the LORD is pure. It endures forever. The decisions of the LORD are true. They are completely fair.
AMP The [reverent] fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.

Proverbs 16:33:

KJV The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD.
BBE A thing may be put to the decision of chance, but it comes about through the Lord.
GW The dice are thrown, but the LORD determines every outcome.
AMP The lot is cast into the lap, but the decision is wholly of the Lord [even the events that seem accidental are really ordered by Him].

Isaiah 10:1:

KJV Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;
BBE Cursed are those who make evil decisions, and the writers who make the records of their cruel acts:
GW How horrible it will be for those who make unjust laws and who make oppressive regulations.
AMP WOE TO those [judges] who issue unrighteous decrees, and to the magistrates who keep causing unjust {and} oppressive decisions to be recorded,

John 5:30:

KJV "I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
BBE Of myself I am unable to do anything: as the voice comes to me so I give a decision: and my decision is right because I have no desire to do what is pleasing to myself, but only what is pleasing to him who sent me.
GW I can't do anything on my own. As I listen [to the Father], I make my judgments. My judgments are right because I don't try to do what I want but what the one who sent me wants.
AMP I am able to do nothing from Myself [independently, of My own accord--but only as I am taught by God and as I get His orders]. Even as I hear, I judge [I decide as I am bidden to decide. As the voice comes to Me, so I give a decision], and My judgment is right (just, righteous), because I do not seek {or} consult My own will [I have no desire to do what is pleasing to Myself, My own aim, My own purpose] but only the will {and} pleasure of the Father Who sent Me.

John 8:16:

KJV "And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me."
BBE Even if I am judging, my decision is right, because I am not by myself--with me is the Father who sent me.
GW Even if I do judge, my judgment is valid because I don't make it on my own. I make my judgment with the Father who sent me.
AMP Yet even if I do judge, My judgment is true [My decision is right]; for I am not alone [in making it], but [there are two of Us] I and the Father, Who sent Me.

Romans 2:15:

KJV Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
BBE Because the work of the law is seen in their hearts, their sense of right and wrong giving witness to it, while their minds are at one time judging them and at another giving them approval;
GW They show that some requirements found in Moses' Teachings are written in their hearts. Their consciences speak to them. Their thoughts accuse them on one occasion and defend them on another.
AMP They show that the essential requirements of the Law are written in their hearts {and} are operating there, with which their consciences (sense of right and wrong) also bear witness; and their [moral] decisions (their arguments of reason, their condemning or approving thoughts) will accuse or perhaps defend {and} excuse [them]

Romans 11:33:

KJV O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
BBE O how deep is the wealth of the wisdom and knowledge of God! no one is able to make discovery of his decisions, and his ways may not be searched out.
GW God's riches, wisdom, and knowledge are so deep that it is impossible to explain his decisions or to understand his ways.
AMP Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unfathomable (inscrutable, unsearchable) are His judgments (His decisions)! And how untraceable (mysterious, undiscoverable) are His ways (His methods, His paths)!

Looking at these verses we see that to make the right decision, we need to know God's Word and listen to His Holy spirit in us. Then we will make the right decision every time.
